I will read this Substack with interest, but I am not enthusiastic about it. I just don't see how this is helpful. As a gay man, I want a complete divorce from the other letters--there is no 'LGBT community', 'LGBTQ community', 'LGBTQIA+ community', etc. These acronyms need to GO AWAY. The T and other letters were added not to be 'inclusive', but rather to dominate and take over. A quick tabulation of your panel bears this out--2 gay men and 4 trans/trans-adjacent people (Jamie is listed not as a lesbian, but a 'gay woman'; I recall reading she identifies as queer and is married to a 'trans man'.)
I also have to state that a 'transman' is not a 'dad' any more than a 'transwoman' is a 'mom'. These things matter.
I also can't get too excited about the further glorification of a porn star who has probably done more damage to mangle minds than can ever be corrected.
I do appreciate the work everyone is doing to protect children, but I don't think 'Sorry kids, you have to wait until you're an adult to be trans!' is an effective message. I think the only actually courageous thing to say is that 'trans' is just not real.
i agree. many thanks to Jamie Reed. but adults who claim their opposite identification helped them are promoting an evidence free claim. sorry - theres just no evidence that IDing as opposite gender helps anyone - even if said person claims to be a living example. heroin, cocaine and alcohol have certain benefits for some in some circumstances. however, they are similarly on the whole harmful. chronic users of said substances would be the worst spokespersons to communicate the harms of the substances they claim to be against while simultaneously addicted. in reality their story is a poison pill and just one more bum steer and gaslighting attempt by those promoting gender ideology. gender ideology erases the rights of a half a doz groups and erases an endless # of rights for everyone.
gender ideology sales persons who claim to support kids right to unmedicated puberty while simultaneously robbing rights from the other groups affected by this fraud are just performing the same shell game other gender biz groups also perform.
Moral purity? I’m just a gay man who is sick to death of being associated with people who have nothing to do with me, and who have now successfully commandeered and destroyed gay rights. The ‘insanity’ began with adding the T to LGB. The insanity continued with adding Q, I, A, +, etc....The insanity increased one thousandfold with ‘Be kind.’ I want an end to this. I am completely fed up. Joining forces with the root of the problem is not going to solve the problem.
Yes, Gary. And also, of the three women in this group that are pretending to be men, how many are lesbians pretending to be straight men and thus denying their homosexuality, and how many are straight women claiming a fraudulent “gay male identity”? These two groups, same-sex attracted people who’ve “transed away the gay” and straight people who think they can opt into this newly cool “gay identity” are severely negatively impacting lesbian & gay communities & individuals, as we all know. And Jamie is in a lesbian relationship with a lesbian who is pretending to be a straight man, presumably, as well, so are they trying to appear to be a straight couple? I get it and your views are legitimate. On the other hand, I am for as many people as possible, especially on the left, to come out against transing children. I am the parent of a lesbian who decided they were a "boy in a dress." To me, its an emergency crisis and will take anyone who wants it to stop.
I think you could find something much better to support. This is the weakest of all orgs fighting child medicalization and is highly likely to become a social media joke. You’re on a sinking ship.
Hugely optimistic about the future. All around, the tides are turning. So glad to see something like this as folks wake up to how our community was hijacked. Hopefully something like this can also mitigate harm to LGBT people and spread more understanding as the pendulum changes direction.

You are perpetuating this forced teaming, and conflating sexual orientation with issues of wanting a non-reality based identity, having a “gendered soul.” Hasn’t Arty Morty said that transgenderism IS NOT “just another way to be gay”? And as Gary Lucia said, a woman can’t be a “dad,” and Jamie has gone from “queer” to “gay woman” but still can’t say the word “lesbian” even when in a group that’s supposed to be by/for the L. So NONE of the lesbians in this group will admit to being lesbians? Sad!
Platforming a bunch of “do as I say, not as I do, kids!” groomers to talk anti-grooming is not only ridiculous, it’s ACTUAL GROOMING. I too will probably occasionally read this Substack, but mostly to see what kind of non-reality based nonsense and stealth grooming propaganda you are pumping out that is essentially trying to normalize the acceptance of adults destroying their body based on an ideology they pretend to rail against. And two gay men are helping push the forced teaming of same-sex attraction and medicalization of identity, and the acceptance of adult medicalization, rather than naming it as the grooming it is?
