I support this Substack in the fight against Trans ID and mutilating gay children.

But this column is wildly off base.

Michael Moore is not going to come save anyone.

Back in 2017, he said that the ban on transgender soldiers in the military was disgusting, that trans soldiers are braver than anyone and that they should simply refuse to leave.

More recently, he slammed the Dems for not having a single pro-Palestinian speaker at the convention.

He was an interesting, provocative film maker in his younger days. But he’s gone now. Just like Jon Stewart. And Trevor Noah.

I share the pessimism of other commenters here. I think it is highly unlikely that Moore will delve into this issue. But I also think it's good to try. You never know, and I certainly don't know. And at least it puts the issue before him. If he's too much of a coward, too vain, or too captured to consider how important this work would be, we can at least make him a bit uncomfortable. So I am glad you are sending the letter Jamie.

He has big ol' clay feet, unfortunately, just like the others, and I believe I know why. Like most people, their weakness is vanity, the irresistible desire to be popular with the young and beautiful. Along with fear of being cancelled and forgotten, lumped in with dinosaur old women. Vanity plus fear outweigh integrity apparently, if they ever really had any. When the curtain is pulled back, their whole supposedly brave careers were probably just ego trips all along.

That's my take as well

Please realize, the massive push (worldwide) for early transition of children is not the result of grassroots activism from some rag tag group of "trans activists." The sudden appearance of this ideology in all levels of government, corporations and institutions, is coming from the top down (UN, WHO, WEF, etc.) Filmmaker Michael Moore is, most likely, "in the club" as George Carlin described it ("it's a big club, and you aren't in it.") So is John Oliver and many others who are towing the party line about "trans rights." The sooner we all wake up to understand who is pushing the trans agenda, the pandemic/vaccine agenda, the New World Order agenda, the sooner we can be more effective in this fight.

Far better to put our support and energies into the many who are already working to educate about the harms of transition. If people in positions of power and influence (like Micheal Moore) are not already awake to the issue at this point, they are most likely part of the problem.

There's no dissent among Dems on this issue. It's hive mind. Part no balls.

Actually, if he tackled the men in women’s sports issue first, I think that would resonate the loudest and then go on to the kids and young people. Do the extremely absurd and then the sad, poignant stories. Ok, off to write my email.

Jamie, I gotta agree with Sad Mom. Unless Michael Moore has an amazing epiphany, he'll be "passing" alright, passing on doing a film about gender troubles and harm to children. The topics simply don't seem to fit with his political views. Independent film makers Mike Nayna or Travis Brown would be far more likely to do such a film. Travis has been doing some film work for Genspect, in fact. They are nowhere near Moore in terms of name recognition and followings, but either would do a superb job, in my opinion. I hope your idea works!

Sadly he would be cancelled like Graham Linehan. But I've emailed him in hope!

I will send an email too. Maybe he is looking for his next project. If he took this on, it would maybe inspire Jon Stewart, Trevor Noah, John Oliver and others to stop going along with the looniness.

It would at least get their attention!

I sent him your "I Thought I Was Saving Trans Kids" article as suggested.

As soon as I read your story on the day it broke I thought "I wish she could make a documentary with Michael Moore."

Shit, you got my hopes up.

I have done as you suggested. I hope it doesn’t lead to disappointed. There are so many writers & journalists who I’ve admired in the past who have been either seduced by this chaotic ideology, or remained silent as children and women are harmed. He is the person who could have pulled it off. You are right that this has all the ingredients: big pharma and the rest. Always worth trying.

Good thinking with this article! I’ve wondered what he thinks about this too and if he might do a treatment of it in a doc. Fingers crossed.

I have a feeling that Michael Moore supports the mutilation and sterilisation of homosexual and autistic kids. I may be wrong, but at this point support of the progressive ideology is a wholesale faith. One cannot pick and choose parts based on personal morals. You’re either in or you’re out. I reckon he’s firmly in!
