I don't know how trans maximalism hijacked the gay rights movement, but it's past time to push back. I marched in the 90s and early aughts for equality and respect, not for the right of kids to get hormones and surgery that are of questionable therapeutic value.
I want trans people to be able to work and marry and have apartments and do all of the things gay people can now do, and that straight people have always done. When it comes to suppressing puberty, or cutting off healthy tissue, or destroying all sex-segregated spaces and activities, as far as I am concerned, trans activists are on their own.
As a UK person I would say why any flag? But I do hope you and your partner find peace over these very divisive ssues around gender ideology. You sound very aware. Whats wrong with just bringing out the rainbow? Seems to have been highjacked and the only way to get it back I guess is to show it off. With love.

'Chemical castration' uses the exact same drugs which are being administered to children as 'puberty blockers'. They are also still used as a treatment option for sex offenders as well.
I knew all of that. What I'm asking for further info on is some type of article or research that documents reports describes etc chemical castration done on gay men as part of conversion therapy. I'm only aware of chemical castration done on sex offenders.

I've only come across it from when 'homosexual acts' WERE sexual offences, eg Alan Turing. It was offered as 'therapy' rather than going to jail.
