I care not a whit for pronouncements from the WHO, which is a corrupt and useless child of its obscenely costly parent. Along with countless other siblings it should be dissolved as part of extreme defunding in order to reduce the UN to what it actually is: a forum for international discussion and debate.
To respond directly to them in any way is, imo, a waste of time and energy.

my greatest worry about the WHO development is that would throw me in with the idiots, reactionaries and conspiracy theorists who reject WHO international policies and alignments on Covid and other health measures and recommendations.
The WHO is a thoroughly corrupt organization. All of their "policies" should be rejected, including the "Covid and other health measures and recommendations."
If you think these other WHO policies are good and valid, then you should push back on any WHO policy that is clearly not based on scientific evidence. Otherwise, WHO could develop into exactly what the “idiots, reactionaries, and conspiracy theories” fear. Push for WHO to base recommendation on gender-affirming care on evidence-based medicine, because otherwise it’s becoming exactly what these other people say.
Wow! I'm not an idiot. I refused the jab and got sacked, because apparently the health measures deemed me dangerous. Funny thing is, all my colleagues are triple jabbed, some four times now, they've all had covid. I'm back at work after they dropped the mandates and I still haven't had covid.
