Thank you!!! I was a quintessential “Tom Boy” as a youth. Turned out that I was heterosexual but I KNOW I would’ve been medicalized had I been a teen today. It breaks my heart that young people don’t have that critical chance to discover for themselves who they will be - gay or straight. LOVE all that you’re doing. Thank you for standing up for the kids.
Difficult for me to do much because my totally straight adult son is very pro-trans , my partner teaches many trans students on an alternative medicine course BUT he cannot by contract say anything critical of it altho' you would think natural/herbal medicine would be critical of anything so very un-natural ! I don't get it - even people I knew on the old Gay scene are now pro-trans ......
It’s why we have to address it as the new gay conversion therapy and yes I work in the field of alternative medicine myself. Cross-sex hormone treatments, such as estrogen for male-to-female transition and testosterone for female-to-male transition, can significantly impact the endocrine system, potentially leading to severe and long-term damage. These treatments alter hormone levels and disrupt the body's natural hormonal balance, which can lead to various health complications, including:
Fertility Issues: Long-term use of cross-sex hormones can lead to permanent infertility, as hormone treatments may impair the gonads' ability to produce sperm or eggs.
Cardiovascular Risks: Estrogen therapy, for instance, can increase the risk of blood clots, stroke, and heart disease, while testosterone therapy can increase blood pressure and the risk of heart attacks.
Bone Density Changes: Hormone treatments may affect bone density, increasing the risk of osteoporosis, particularly when initiated in adolescence before peak bone mass has been achieved.
Metabolic Concerns: Hormonal therapies can influence metabolism, sometimes causing weight gain, insulin resistance, and changes in cholesterol levels.
Endocrine Disruption: Prolonged hormone treatment may permanently alter the function of the pituitary and adrenal glands and other components of the endocrine system.
These potential impacts underscore the importance of careful medical oversight and ongoing monitoring of individuals undergoing hormone therapy. The extent of damage or risk depends on factors such as the age at which treatment begins, the duration of treatment, and individual health conditions
They are not so careful of the contraceptive pill though ! My mother was a doctor and had such contempt for "silly girls sleeping with Tom , Dick and Harry" that she thought they should all be taking it even if they didn't want to . And yes I knew of one student in my Uni year who nearly died from DVT - not a joke !
Does his partner work for a state institution in the US? If so, the contract that prohibits him from criticizing gender ideology might be in violation of the First Amendment's free speech provisions. But that is something they would need to consult a qualified lawyer about. Even if it were, there's the trade-off between asserting one's self and protecting one's livelihood.
We are all in the UK - which some feel is a bit more enlightened because of the Cass Report ; however we do not have citizenship rights as in the US . We are subjects and not citizens - and no , Magna Carta is not enforceable . In fact it never was ! British subjects are very proud of it but mostly have no idea that it isn't law !
"My concern is the gay people who are made to feel like they have to identify as the opposite sex in order to properly fit into society."
As a gay man in my late 60s, I find this state of mind as difficult to imagine as the idea of living in a two-dimensional world. I am not judging the gay youngster who is made to feel he has to be a girl in order to belong. He is a victim. No, it's the people and institutions who have alienated him from his male body, his masculinity and his sense of being gay who deserve criticism. If that does not fit the legal definition of gay conversion therapy, the laws are in urgent need of updating. I am glad that when I was a little boy who loved my Barbie doll (or, to be specific, her outfits and accessories) gender ideology was still a nightmare far over the distant horizon.
Children can no more "consent" to have their healthy breasts and genitalia removed or take puberty blockers than they can "consent" to have sex with an adult.
Similarly, parents and doctors can no more approve such permanent mutilation simply because a minor child desires it than they can approve their participation in pedophilia.
Ultimately society will see the truth and ban the practice as we have banned female genital mutilation. Do people support that practice if the parents consent? I truly hope not
It is monstrous to believe otherwise and those who do will ultimately be held to account for their actions. The obscene bureaucrat Rachel (Richard) Levine among those in the dock.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We all have to speak up!
Great work, excellent communication, amazing individuals. 💛
