Garden Highlight 8: Pumpkin! Here is a pumpkin tip and a lesson for kids. Every year we dump the pumpkin guts in the exact same space in the garden. Then after we are finished with the carved pumpkins from the holidays we dump the rotting pumpkin shell in the same space too. This is the way we ‘plant’ pumpkins and they return year after year in the same space with no work except for remembering where to dump the guts.
Love this: “with no work except for remembering where to dump the guts”. There must be soooo many things to which this applies!
Please everybody stop with 16 or 18. 25 at the minimum. Never preferably, of course.......
