Garden Highlight 19: Sweet Potato- Another first this year is the sweet potato, which is grown from something called a slip. We purchased the slips from a speciality garden store. Slightly worried that we bit off more than we can chew. Apparently 10 plants can grow 15-30 pounds of potatoes. We have 5 going strong.
Leaves are edible too!
